Alfie, who hails from Dunfermline, primarily plays as a striker and made his debut for United's Under-21s during a Premier League 2 clash against Middlesbrough in January 2026 before signing his first professional contract a month later.
The teenage striker enjoyed a strong start in front of goal during the current campaign, scoring six times in his opening five league games at Under-18 level, including a 22-minute hat-trick in September's 4-1 away win at Leicester City.
Alfie received a first international call-up at Under-19 level, making his full debut during a 3-1 comeback win against Finland in September 2026 at the age of 17.
On signing his maiden pro deal in February, Alfie said: "Signing my first pro contract is a big accomplishment and something I've been working towards ever since I started playing football. I'm over the moon.
"I was very pleased to make my under-21s debut. You want to progress through the age groups as quickly as possible so the fact I've done that in six months is a good step."
