Leo joined Newcastle from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2023 after a decade with his boyhood club before signing his first professional contract with the Magpies in May 2024.
The 19-year-old defender made his debut for Newcastle's Under-21s side during an EFL Trophy clash against League Two side Crewe Alexandra at the Mornflake Stadium in November 2023.
Leo represented England at the 2024 European Under-17 Championship finals in Cyprus, starting all three group fixtures as the Young Lions qualified for the quarter-finals, and has gained seven caps at Under-18 level since his bow in September 2024, scoring his first international goal during a friendly win against France in March.
Leo, who has captained England at Under-18 level, made his professional debut for the Magpies earlier this year, appearing as a second-half substitute in February's UEFA Champions League victory over Qarabağ FK at St. James' Park.
