The Winlaton-born forward, who joined Newcastle's Academy as a 13-year-old, was part of the Magpies' 2025 Carabao Cup winning squad.

A representative of England from Under-17 to Under-19 level, Sean was named in a first-team matchday squad for the first time during Newcastle's Emirates FA Cup fourth round victory against Birmingham City in February 2025.

The promising forward scored 13 goals across all competitions for United's Under-18s side in 2023/24 as well as making his Under-21s debut in a EFL Trophy clash against League Two Crewe Alexandra.

Neave, who signed his first professional deal with his boyhood club last summer, also scored within two minutes of his full Premier League 2 debut for United's Under-21s side during a 3-1 away win against Leeds United in November 2024.

The promising teenager was handed his first-team debut for Eddie Howe's side during a pre-season friendly against Celtic, introduced from the substitutes' bench in the closing stages at Celtic Park.

Sean, who scored 15 goals in all competitions for United's Under-21s in 2025/26, made his UEFA Champions League debut in February, featuring in a 6–1 away win against Qarabağ FK.

On the final game of the 25/26 campaign, the young striker made his Premier League bow when coming off the bench against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Whilst on loan at Wolves, Sean gained his first professional start during a Carabao Cup third round tie away at Everton in September 2026.
